Yo people

Exam is starting on the first week of June and it is so so near!

I am rather proud of myself.
I actually touched the first topic of Strength Of Materials.
Ahh. Yes. I mean touch. :)

The interval break on thursday was a rather fruitful one.
Besides spending part of the 3 hr break chit chatting, we girls started with our ship drawing. Using autocad! Three different views k.
Hard work.


The topic for our chit-chatting session was actually do i look like a china-girl?
Tsk.

I am not k. I am Singaporean. Born in Singapore.

Of course, i am not trying to say that china is not good k.
My best friend came from china.

Just that, the feeling of many ppl asking me if i came from another country is so not right.
I love Singapore. It is the country that i had stayed for 10 + years. There's a bond.

Of coz, i like china also. I like all countries~! :D

It's been a long long time since i last update on my recent life.
So, here i am. Returning back.

Life has been the same. School and school.

I must agree that year two is getting abit tougher even though i dun see the amount of homework being as much as compared in secondary school.

Tsk. But i feel the tense and stress!

I have got tons of post it stick on the board which is currently in front of me while i am typing this.

Arghh.
I am trying to ignore it.


But, at times school is fun and full of laughter with the girls around.

There is a bird nest hanging on one of my mom's plants. I mean used to.

And the fucking kids of my neighbor took it way.
How i know?

My mom saw the ugly kids trying to push the pot of plant yesterday night.
As if it is the first time they ever see a bird inside a bird nest.
PLEASE. U are a guy leh. You also have one.

The bird papa is now chipping away outside my house.

Hand-Foot-And-Mouth-Disease

This disease is a common one among kids normally it starts with a fever and then causes sores in the mouth and then on the hands and feet.

According to the web that i searched.
It is caused by a virus called an enterovirus.

It spreads through coughing, sneezing and also the contact with infected stool.

Normally, it takes 3 to 6 days for a person to get the symptoms of hand-foot-and-mouth disease after being exposed to the virus and this is called the incubation period.


What is eterovirus?



Enterovirus are a larger family of viruses responsible for many infections in children.

Enteroviruses, such as Coxsackie viruses and echoviruses.

It live in the intestines of humans and other animals.
Enteroviruses usually do not cause illness but they may under certain circumstances.

Infected people pass the viruses to each other through contaminated food, water, or objects.

Wash ur hands regularly


Mouth Ulcers

Yiling had lots of mouth ulcers recently and i was wondering how mouth ulcers are form.

Mouth ulcers is a big big pain especially when we are eating, drinking and at times talking.

They may be caused by

a denture or rough tooth
Poor circulation
Bacterial or fungal infection
Undetected food allergy
accidentally biting of tongue or inside of the cheek

Normally, they always occur in people who are emo or stressed!
Poor diet, lack of sleep.


deficiency in Vitamin C!

Ulcers would usually heal within 10 days to two weeks. But, it is so pain! Have to heal it faster.


Healing:

Washing of mouth with salt water




Maintaining good oral hygiene (flossing of teeth)

Apply xi gua shuang 西瓜霜 ( I self recommend. Cause it works for me)

I am filled with tears now. Was watching channel U moments ago and the show make my eyes go watery.

I am so touched.

The show is Find Me A Singaporean 2.
Today's episode is the fourth and is about a singaporean staying at brazil for 20 years.
She fall in love with a chinese-brazil man and went there to stay with him.

Here is the Synopsis i got from the web.

Belinda Lee travels to Sao Paolo, Brazil to meet Singaporean Stella Tan, who has lived in here for the last 20 years. Stella gave up her flying career as an air stewardess after she married her Brazilian-Chinese husband. Gosh. If you guys watch that ep, stella's mom prepared food for belinda to bring over to brazil.
All of the food are handmade and prepared by her mom.

Stella cried when she saw the things that belinda took out.
Family ties. Friends.

In fact, i admired stella's courage to leave all her things behind and head for brazil.
Just imagine how big is her love for her husband during that time.

I doubt i would be able to do that. Leaving all the things behind is such a big step.
Needless to say having to adapt to a 100% new environment.

Great great admiration.

I hope that stella and her family would live on happily at brazil till then.

Lastly, i am so glad to know that there are actually singaporeans staying at other countries for a long time and yet they still preserved the strong bond in their heart.
Love them. :)
